Hello! My name is Marcus and I am currently pursuing my masters in computer Science. I am a former NCAA athlete at UCSC where I played men’s volleyball. Describe your college experience
I had an amazing time here at UCSC. I have created lifelong friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life and believe the education I received here was great! Certain things in Santa Cruz can be hard to navigate such as finding housing and scheduling classes but with the right advice the transition to college can be a little smoother. I have decided to earn my masters here at UCSC through the 4+1 program where I plan to get my masters in cs in one year.
Tip for future students
Start looking for housing early! Be outgoing and don’t be afraid to join different communities, you will find friends in the most unlikely places. Enjoy the college experience!
