Describe your college experience
My college experience has been really positive so far! Since I’m from Columbus, the transition was easier because I can still see my family regularly. My first semester in the dorms went well, and after my dorm flooded over winter break, I ended up moving off campus with a few friends, which has been a lot of fun. Classes were more challenging than high school, but staying organized made them manageable. The first few weeks felt overwhelming, but once I found my routine and community, I quickly felt at home at Ohio State.
Tip for future students
* Get involved in clubs or organizations that interest you * Put yourself out there to find your community * Don’t stress if the first few weeks feel overwhelming—you have time to adjust! * Use a calendar!!! and stay organized; time management is key.
Favorite class
My Intro to Psychology class has been my favorite so far. I learned so many interesting things about how the brain works, and made friends with the people I sat with.
Career goals
I would love to work in Public Policy and be involved with the legislative process somehow. Ideally I would work with environmental policy and sustainability.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Pickleball, ice cream, movie.
