Describe your college experience
I've had a great college experience so far! Everyone was super welcoming, so I was quickly able to make friends, and the classes have all been incredibly interesting and thought provoking. I think my transition to college was relatively smooth, but there was a learning curve when it came to finding a schedule that worked for me.
Tip for future students
Take advantage of the free public transit and arts pass. There are so many amazing things to explore in Chicago, but you'll never know unless you get out and see the sights.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been Queering the American Family Drama, which was a theater class that brought queer theory and performance theory to life on stage. The plays were all so unique and really made me think, and our small tight-knit class made it the perfect judgement-free zone to explore new ideas.
Career goals
I'm still not sure what I'd like to do after college, but I'm currently leaning towards museum curator.
Ideal way to spend a free night
On a free night, I love cook or bake and then play games with friends.
