Describe your college experience

As I continue my academic career here, I've grown more and more love for this university each year. As an african american student, I've found a great community that supports each other in our academic succes, especially wihtin the school of engineering. I'd describe myself as a very active individual on grounds and thats given me the chance to meet a lot of different people over these past few years. Charlottesville as a city has more than most people realize as well, and I've loved getting the chance to explore different parts of it.

Tip for future students

Put yourself out there and be active in the community.

Favorite class

Intro to Aerospace has been my favorite class because of the cool content we get to study, and the projects that we've been able to do that was sponsored by the school (We created a small scale rocket).

Career goals

I plan to get my Master's degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, as I'm already in an accelerated program and have taken a few courses as well. I then plan to work in the aerospace industry, doing work with propulsion systems (most particularly electric propulsion systems).
