Sophomore at Ohio State! Finance major with History and German minors.
I'm a Finance major with minors in History and German, as well as the Co-Treasurer of our Italian Club. I've worked around campus and had to switch my living situation on campus three times last year, so I know a thing or two about how OSU works.

Describe your college experience
Definitely had to learn to make more time for myself and self-reflection, learned more about holding relationships. Learned that the college experience is not the same for everyone and partying is not always fun. There is too much to do in these four years to stay still in just one avenue or field. Pick up more hobbies, you'll miss the freedom.
Tip for future students
Go into college with an open mind. Sign up for something new each week or whenever possible. Get to know your seniors. Make sure to bring ibuprofen and Tums, campus food can be tough. Don't forget your rain boots. Sometimes you need to give up one aspect of life to focus more on another, a perfect balance is near impossible to strike in this environment.
Favorite class
20th Century German History -- there was no midterm nor final in this class, only a writing portfolio at the end to show off what we learned. While this was a Gen Ed, I would say I put my back into it because I enjoy both History and German. I also made two close friends from this class, and my freshman year wouldn't have been the same without them.
Career goals
Consulting or a government-related job, preferably something that would take me out of the states. I want to make an impact on the community I live in.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Gym, a mini spa session, and spending time with someone I admire. Doesn't matter if it's in or out. As long as I'm near someone I appreciate, everything is okay.
