Describe your college experience
During my Freshman year, I struggled to acclimate to the college experience. I had always been more of a homebody in high school. During my Freshman spring and Sophomore year, I have come out of my shell. I feel this may help me connect with students who are nervous about the college transition, and to give tips on the best ways to form strong friendships in college.
Tip for future students
Don't be afraid to try! In my freshman year, I was too nervous to apply to competitive clubs because of the elite peer group at Cornell. Over time, I gained confidence, and I was able to get into clubs I was too afraid to apply to before. You are more valuable than you think!
Favorite class
My favorite class has been The Evolution of Social Policy in Britain and America. While the material was interesting, it was truly the professor who made the course. I could not recommend taking a course with Professor George Boyer enough!
Career goals
I plan to attend law school, as of now through Cornell's 3+3 program, and become an attorney.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Getting dressed up and grabbing dinner with my girls! Even better if its Mexican food.
