Describe your college experience
Transitioning to Stanford was both challenging and transformative. Moving away from home and living independently for the first time was difficult, but being surrounded by driven, intelligent people pushed me to aim higher. My peers not only motivated me to work harder but also helped me find my direction, sharing their knowledge and perspectives along the way.
Tip for future students
Take advantage of the resources; they're there for a reason. Stanford offers an almost overwhelming number of resources: office hours with world-class professors, research opportunities through programs like CURIS, career support through the Career Education Center, mental health services at CAPS, and hundreds of student organizations. Many students don't use them until they're struggling, so go early and often, even when things are going well. Impostor syndrome is universal. Nearly every Stanford student feels at some point like they don't belong or that everyone else has it figured out. They don't. The same drive that got you admitted will carry you through, so trust it.
Favorite class
I really enjoyed taking cs103. Its actually one of the harder classes in the cs major curriculum but I really loved learning the logic and figuring out the problems each week. I think the way the classes taught the concepts were very effective and I learned a lot.
Career goals
I hope to work in the AI space. I love taking on the challenge of building more effective and efficient solutions.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Going out for dinner and dessert with my friends, then coming back to the dorms and watching a movie/show.
