Hi! My name is Kassandra Rodriguez, and I’m currently a third-year student studying Political Science. I’m very outgoing and enjoy meeting new people, which is one of the reasons I’m interested in being a tour guide. I’d describe myself as approachable, adaptable, and someone who works well under pressure. I really enjoy helping others feel comfortable in new environments, and I like being able to share information in a way that feels engaging and genuine. Describe your college experience

My transition to college was exciting but challenging as I adjusted to more independence and responsibility. Over time, I became more confident managing my time and connecting with others. It’s been a really rewarding experience, especially getting to meet new people and build connections.

Tip for future students

I’d say get as involved as you can and say yes to new opportunities. Try classes you never thought you’d be interested in and don’t be afraid to take risks, you learn the most when you step outside your comfort zone.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been Music 16, which is an introduction to jazz. I really enjoyed it because it exposed me to a new genre of music and helped me appreciate the history and creativity behind jazz.

Career goals

I’m in the pre- law route, therefore I hope to attend law school after my undergrad.

I’d spend my free night going to hang out at the beach, getting in some sun!
