Rising Senior Studying Political Science at Boston College

Hello! My name is Brenner Enright, and I am a rising senior here at BC studying political science with a minor in history. I am the President of the Men's Club Lacrosse team, as well as a member of Charity: Water and the Sons of St. Patrick. I have loved my three years on the Heights and would love to share my knowledge and insight about the university with anyone interested in applying here!

Describe your college experience

My transition to college was like most: bumpy. It took me a semester to really settle in and find my group, and from there, it has been an incredible experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. Getting into a routine and establishing good habits were imperative for managing life at college for me. As someone who works based on a schedule, I developed some handy tricks that paid dividends. In balancing academics, fitness, and your social life, it helps to be organized.

Tip for future students

BUILD A SCHEDULE! Checking off tasks, no matter how simple, releases dopamine, giving you a sense of accomplishment and a drive to do more.

Favorite class

I throughly enjoyed my Islam and Christianity in Dialogue class with Professor Welle. It was a subject I was pretty unfamiliar with, but thanks to Prof. Welle's knowledge and ability to make the classroom a free-for-debate environment, I ended up taking away much more than I expected to.

Career goals

I plan to attend law school upon graduating from BC. I am very interested in criminal law and have a career goal of one day becoming a judge.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Heading to Fenway to watch my Orioles beat up on the Red Sox!

High school or secondary school

Gilman School -- Baltimore, MD

Meeting point

In front of Saint Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church on the Boston College campus
