Describe your college experience
My time at Brown has been super positive. Right from the start I joined clubs that represented my identity and hobbies and each year has brought a new refreshing experience of Brown
Tip for future students
Don’t be afraid if you’re not sure what concentration to pursue. The freedom to explore your interests in your first and second year, as well as the possibility to combine different concentrations is one of the best things about Brown
Favorite class
My favorite class at Brown was CSCI 0150: introduction to object oriented programming. The class is taught by computer science legend Andy Van Dam, and accompanied by the best TAs that put on skits and make the class very lively. Also, the assignments are game oriented, culminating in a final project that consisted of building Pac-Man from scratch
Career goals
I want to go into the tech industry, as a software engineer, machine learning engineer, or product manager. Hopefully I will be able to combine these roles with a company that aligns my other interests like music or sports
Ideal way to spend a free night
If I’m feeling energetic and social I will probably head down to the “underground” where jazz nights are hosted every Wednesday. If not I’ll invite some friends over to watch a movie and hang, or just play the guitar in my room
