Undergraduate Student

I am an undergraduate in the Columbia-Trinity Dual BA Program! I major in philosophy on the pre-med track at Columbia, and have roots in the Bay Area and New York City. I love sharing school history and history about New York City itself - especially when the two overlap!

Describe your college experience

I had a unique experience given my participation in the Dual BA Program, where I attended both Trinity College Dublin and Columbia. As such, I've had the perspective and opportunity to see two different kinds of school systems, and am able to compare the Columbia experience to something else.

Tip for future students

Columbia is of course in New York City, but Morningside Heights is very residential in feel - so you have the benefit of having access to the city but also having a quieter area to retreat to.

Favorite class

Living, Dying, and the Meaning of Life - a class jointly taught by the Dean of Religious Life, an MD professor from the medical school, and a philosophy professor

Career goals

Writing medical policy/law at the federal level

Ideal way to spend a free night

Ride the Staten Island Ferry for free and make it back in time to grab a slice of Koronets (the vodka sauce).

High school or secondary school

Foothill High School, Pleasanton, California

Previous college

Jointly enrolled in Trinity College Dublin as a Dual BA student (will graduate with a degree from both Trinity and Columbia)
