UCSD Structural Engineering !
Hello ! I am a Structural Engineering student who has been living on campus for all 4 years that I have been a student. I love to explore and meet new people, specifically trying new things, whether it be new foods, music, or other interests. I have a lot of hobbies of my own, whether niche or extremely popular, and I am always willing to have a conversation regarding anything. I personally would say that I know UCSD pretty well and would absolutely enjoy talking about my own personal advice!

Describe your college experience
The transition to college started off quite rough and was a lot to take in initially. It had hid away in my dorm my first year and that is something that I heavily regret. Later on in my college times, I learned of things that I missed out on during my first year solely because I had made the mistake of not being social enough. After realizing this mistake, I had decided to make the most of the rest of the time I had left, since I no longer want to regret any of the choices I make.
Tip for future students
I would highly recommend to be social and meet as many new people as you can. College is the perfect time to make connections as you are constantly surrounded by others who are the same age and have similar interests. Joining clubs focused on these interestes will also help further facilitate those connecttion.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been SE3. This class really pushed my thinking of engineering problem solving processes. It also introduced me to group projects, in which I had to learn how to manage my time and work with others who also have personal things going on in their lives. I believe that these skills were important and I will be carrying them with my into my fuuture endeavors.
Career goals
I hope to do something engineering related, as I am also going to be a graduate student so that I may further my engineering knowledge.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would be with friends, as I love to socialize and talk to people. This would hopefully be done over a dinner, as I also love to try new foods as well/
