I'm on the pre-med track, so I've been involved with pre-professional clubs, internships, and looking for research opportunities. As much as I love working towards my major, I love spending time with my friends, trying new cafes, and meeting new people!

Describe your college experience

At first, 8 hours away from home felt intimidating. I had never been far away from home, so the first couple weeks were definitely difficult, but I realized that the more involved I was on campus, the easier it was to make friends. I started to settle within in the first month and living alone actually became a great experience. Now, I wouldn't trade my friends or my first year experience for the world!!

Tip for future students

Try everything! Go out and become involved in as many activities as you can. As the year goes on, you can start picking what means more to you than the others.

Favorite class

Introduction to Neuroscience! This was my first class that was actually related to the major I chose, and I loved learning the "why" behind our daily actions and developments as we grow.
