Describe your college experience
It was definetly a struggle coming from a small community college to one of the largest public universities in the country, but I've come to know myself so much better. I thoroughly enjoyed living on campus, meeting new people, and meeting my best friends at college.
Tip for future students
I wish that I knew I should be more extroverted and outgoing in order to make more friends. I'd also wish I'd known that time is truly finite, you should always be trying to do things you enjoy and make the most of your time; even if that means doing things by yourself. Our campus is huge, and there are always club events going on that you can try out.
Favorite class
International Human Rights. I am deeply interested in international affairs, and taking this course really opened my eyes to the importance of international law in protecting and enhancing human rights globally. It has also made me consider a career in human rights law.
Career goals
I hope to move on to graduate school, and enter into the field of international affairs. I am still figuring out what exactly that might look like, but that is ok! That is what college is for.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Some of the most fun nights that I've had have been driving around Tampa with my friends with no destination. That will always be an option (if you have a car), and there are a lot of places to hang out and go to in the Tampa area.
