I am going into my fourth year at UC Berkeley studying applied mathematics. I moved into the dorms as a freshman and have been all over the Bay Area exploring while also focusing on rigorous academics!

Describe your college experience
At first my transition felt scary but during my freshman year I met a good solid group of friends which has made my college experience way better. Other than that just going out and exploring the new environment was also something that helped make everything seem more familiar over time.
Tip for future students
Based on my experience, making friends is super important to know that you are not alone in all of this. Also finding a balance between social and academic life is extremely important so that you can enjoy all things Berkeley.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been my Data C104 class since it was a lot of discussion but laid back in a way that it was fun and easy to talk about.
Career goals
After college I hope to do research regarding my concentration abroad or find opportunities to do what I love in another country.
Ideal way to spend a free night
If I want to stay in, watch a movie with snacks and friends. If I want to go out, probably go on a drive which simultaneously leads to a mall or something fun.
