Describe your college experience
Coming to college was a big adjustment at first, especially being away from home, but I got comfortable pretty quickly. The University of Alabama has so many opportunities, and once you find your people, it honestly feels like home. Classes can be challenging, but there’s a good balance between academics and having fun. I’ve learned a lot about independence and time management, and overall it’s been a really positive experience.
Tip for future students
Focus on the little things. Here at this university, there are so many things that are just beautuful and a good distraction. If you;re just hvung a bad day at Alabama all you have to do is look around and notice the beautiful landscape. A walk to class is never bad (unless its raining), and cana be very theraputic for people like me who are all up in my own head. Another huge tip is surrou d yourself with people who bring you up, not down. Its very easy to get caught up in a loop hole if you hang out with the wrong people. I leardned in my psychology class you become the people you surround yourself with, so dont take that lightly.
Favorite class
My favorite class was probably Social Problems and Social Change from the new college. It was a seminar where we didnt just dicuss interesting topics but we also got to go to one of the most beautiful parks in Alabama, and learned the history about ut as well as participating on the gardening.
Career goals
After I graduate, I would either have to go back to school to get my masters or PhD for Osychology, or start an internship somewhere. My goal is to end up working for either the police department, or the defendants.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Either going out with friends, getting food, and just having fun, or staying in, watching a show, and relaxing. Depends on the mood honestly.
