University of Oregon
Hi my name is Gabriella, and I am a student here at University of Oregon!
A little about me is that although year-wise I am a sophomore, academically, I am actually a Junior, planning to graduate in spring 2027. I am an Education Foundations major (EDST), hoping to teach Elementary education in the future. I love listening to music, hanging out with friends, art and baking! Feel free to ask me any question and reach out!

Describe your college experience
Personally, I would say college thus far has been a bit of a bumpy road, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Living in the dorms was a canon experience and is definitely worth doing, haha. I have a lot of stories I could tell about living there. Living off campus hasdefinitelyy changed my views, but not negatively. It is all new and exciting (for everyone)!
Tip for future students
- Ask for help (teachers and other students are likely to help you!) - Use office hours if offered. - Reach out and ask for help. - Also, use the resources offered!
Favorite class
If I am being honest, I don't think I have a favorite class. If I had to choose, I think I would say either any of my education classes or my women and gender studies class. My reason for the education classes is because my entire life, I had been looking forward to going to school to become a teacher (it has been my dream job since I can remember), and it did not disappoint at all. The classes are different from anything I have ever done before, and the community I have been fortunate enough to become a part of is absolutely amazing! The reason I highly enjoyed my women and gender studies class was because of the way the professor taught. She always had a way of pulling in and holding our attention on extremely important subjects and then letting everyone speak their opinions openly.
Career goals
I hope to get my master's in education, most likely elementary education,n and with that, I hope to either teach in Oregon (as of right now) or teach children abroad.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend an evening would probably include hanging out with my friends and partners, eating yummy food, crafting, talking/catching up, and listening to music.
