Describe your college experience

Coming from out of state, I was really homesick at first. I debated transferring to a school at home my first year but stuck with it and found amazing friends who I am going to live with after graduation! I was able to have amazing leadership opportunites at UCSB that led me to getting 3 different internships and a job offer in my field of interest. I also had the opportunity to study abroad and am currently writing an 80+ page thesis!

Tip for future students

UCSB is great at taking transfer credits and AP credits. I had 55 units transfer from highschool that helped me get ahead. It is also super easy to double major here but you need to look into it your firs 2 years to stay on track!

Favorite class

Labor economics (Econ 150a) or Roman History (Class 20B)! My econ class taught me about current job markets while I was applying for jobs post-grad and my history class was super interesting and I met my thesis advisor through this class!

Career goals

I am moving to NYC with my best friends from college and already have accepted a job offer to work in finance!

Ideal way to spend a free night

Go out to dinner at Loquita downtown with my friends, then come back and watch a movie!
