Describe your college experience

I would say my college experience so far has been great! At first it was intimidating because I was away from my family for the very first time but after a while you begin to adjust to a new way of life. For me college has been freeing and I have been able to connect with new people and experience new things. Academically, it was hard to adjust to the way courses work in college compared to high school. In college you need to study and make sure you know your material for exams and to overall understand the course.

Tip for future students

A tip would be to not be afraid of attending office hours. I think attending office has helped me especially with topics I am not able to understand. Definitely improved my exam scores after attending office hours. Making sure prepare for exam is also important, do not cram information the night before!

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been my MAN 336 class. I loved my professor because his lectures were so interactive and got to apply the concepts we learned during class with my peers.

Career goals

I am interested in going into the transportation side of supply chain management. Working with people to make sure customers are satisfied with the delivery of their products.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Relaxing at home with my roommates and watching movies with my favorite snacks.
