Describe your college experience
My first semester involved a lot of ups and downs, having to get used to not having my family (blood or not) around all the time. I learned to put myself out there and make more friends, especially when my friend/roommate moved back home halfway through the year and I was roomed with a stranger. I had to learn to prioritize my time and put more focus into my schooling instead of other things I wanted to do in my free time.
Tip for future students
Anything you want to do when you’re supposed to be studying can be done after studying. Don’t stop to read a book or play video games knowing you have a paper due at midnight! Make friends on your hall or just around campus! You’ll be able to have meals and hangout around campus with them, and those were the best moments my freshman year.
Favorite class
Psychology, it wasn’t an easy class but the proffesor made the experience 1000 times better; She would discuss something like a child’s cognitive development, and act out examples.
Career goals
I hope to get into veterinary program, and after work at a small animal practice, or a zoo, and get my animal rehabilitation license!
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love hanging out with friends and cooking dinner, but I also love curling up in bed with my rabbit and cat and reading a good book!
