Describe your college experience
My college experience has been a transformative journey. As a transfer student living off-campus in my own house, I’ve adapted to a new environment and lifestyle. While I don't have everyday interactions with a traditional friend group, the people I've met at Texas A&M have been nothing short of amazing and welcoming. Over the past year, I've built numerous connections that have enriched my academic and social life. I'm grateful for the supportive community here and excited to continue building relationships as I dive deeper into my studies in Animal Science!
Tip for future students
A key tip for future students is to always engage! Attend events and participate in clubs—this is where you’ll make lifelong friends and create memorable experiences. Getting involved not only helps you connect with others but also enhances your college journey. Don't hesitate to step out of your comfort zone; you never know who you might meet or the opportunities that await you!
Favorite class
My favorite classes are definitely the Animal Science courses. They truly captivate my interest and align with my passion for understanding animal behavior, health, and the science behind animal husbandry. The material is fascinating, and I love how it connects to real-world applications in the field. Each class offers something new to explore, making my academic experience both enjoyable and enriching!
Career goals
My career goal is to apply to veterinary school and become a veterinarian. I have always had a strong passion for animals and a desire to contribute to their health and well-being. Becoming a veterinarian will allow me to combine my love for animals with my commitment to helping them live healthy, happy lives. I’m excited about the journey ahead as I work toward achieving this goal!
Ideal way to spend a free night
The ideal way to spend a free night is definitely by heading over to Aggie Park. It's a perfect spot to relax and unwind without going far. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the stadium, especially when the lights are shining, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It’s a great place to hang out with friends, reflect on the day, or simply enjoy the surroundings. Whether it's a quiet evening or a lively gathering, Aggie Park offers the perfect backdrop for making lasting memories!
High school or secondary school
I completed my high school in Doral, Florida, which is quite a distance from here. If you’re coming from that area, definitely let me know! It would be great to connect with someone who has a shared background. I’d love to hear about your experience and offer any insights about transitioning to Texas A&M!
Previous college
I previously attended Miami Dade College in Doral, Florida, before transferring to Texas A&M. It was an important stepping stone in my education, and I gained valuable experiences there. If you’re also coming from Miami Dade or the Doral area, I’d love to connect and share insights about our journeys and how we’ve transitioned to life here at A&M!
