Describe your college experience
Love love love Texas A&M in college station. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I love the community, everyone’s so kind and vibrant about their love for Texas A&M. I immensely enjoy the Aggie traditions some of which being Fish Camp, Muster, Silver Taps, midnight yell, and of course the queen Ms.Rev. My freshman year started off a bit rocky between struggling with transportation due to me not having a car and my chemistry class wasn’t going so well. I ended up figuring out how to use campus resources to get around without having a car my first year. Chemistry I’m still a little in a loop with but hopefully this year will be better.
Tip for future students
I would greatly recommend before classes start do some adventuring throughout campus. The first couple of weeks before school starts tend to be more quiet than during the school season. Great to figure out where and how to get to classes, clubs, and or orgs on campus.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been animal science 107 and 108. These classes definitely locked me into my major. I have a passion for animals and seeing how many different opportunities there are for helping and handling animals as an Animal Science major is exciting.
Career goals
After college I hope to get into the vet school at Texas A&M. So far I’ve learned about a lot of different opportunities for jobs as an animal science major so things might change for that plan but we’ll see.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is to definitely hang out with friends. I made a couple my freshman year and I hope to make more this year.
