Describe your college experience
My college experience so far has been exciting and full of growth. The transition away from home was definitely an adjustment learning to manage my time, stay on top of classes, and balance everything took some work. But getting involved in groups helped me find my community early on. I’ve made great friends, learned a lot, and found that getting involved really makes campus feel like home.
Tip for future students
Get involved early and don’t be afraid to try new things. Whether it’s joining a club, going to a campus event, or playing intramurals, that’s how you meet people and feel connected. Also, don’t wait too long to ask for help, professors and advisors actually want to support you. Lastly, time management is everything start building good habits early.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been Calculus II. It challenged me in the best way and really sharpened how I think through complex problems. I liked how it built on what I already knew but introduced new concepts like series and integrals that felt more connected to real-world applications especially in engineering.
Career goals
I hope to be a Software Engineer at a company after college and learn new skills that will help me start up my own business one day.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night is probably grabbing food with friends or just doing something active.
