Describe your college experience
My college journey has had a few twists (like switching majors and navigating some tough academic transitions), but it's shaped me into someone resilient and passionate about creating meaningful work. UGA is a big school, but I've found my place through writing, leading, and connecting with people who share similar passions.
Tip for future students
Don't be afraid to reach out first. Whether it’s a professor, a club, or a potential friend. Most of the time, people are just waiting for someone to take the first step. And if something doesn't feel right, it’s okay to pivot.
Favorite class
It’s a tie between Visual and Material Rhetoric and Rhetoric in Pop Culture. Both classes made me see everyday media and design in a new way. I loved exploring how meaning is created through visuals, objects, and pop culture: and how rhetoric shapes the stories we tell and believe.
Career goals
I want to work in digital media, content creation, or publishing—specifically amplifying underrepresented voices and telling stories that matter. I’m also planning to apply to graduate school for Emerging Media.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Grabbing boba and talking for hours, editing a video or article, or watching something nostalgic with friends (bonus points if it’s raining outside). Ask me about the book I'm writing!
