Hi! I’m Katrina, a senior at the University of Florida, pursuing a major in Advertising on the pre-law track with a Spanish minor. I am from Miami, Florida and UF has been the best decision I’ve ever made! Throughout my time at UF, I have been very involved in campus with pre-law organizations, Hispanic groups, advertising clubs, study abroad programs, and so much more! I am so excited to teach potential new Gators more about UF and what the Gator Nation has to offer!

Describe your college experience
Choosing UF was the absolute best decision I’ve ever made. The professors I fostered connections with, the students I formed friendships with, and the experiences I gained are truly once in a lifetime. I am the person I am today because of the University of Florida and if I could share my experience to any potential Gators who are unsure if UF is the right choice for them, I’d love to help in any way that I can!
Tip for future students
If I could share any tips to future students it would be to say yes to every opportunity that comes your way and use this as the time to try new things and see what works best for you and your interests. College is all about gaining new experiences and UF is the perfect place to do that, the opportunities at this school are truly endless.
Favorite class
My favorite class I have taken at UF was my Advertising Campaigns class. I was able to work with a group the entire semester to produce an advertising campaign for a legit client. I learned so many valuable skills from my amazing professor to take with me to the workforce as well as made so many wonderful friendships in the process.
Career goals
I will be taking a gap year after college to work on the communications team for a Congressman before attending law school!

My ideal way to spend a free night is doing a fun activity with my friends!
