University of Arkansas
Hi! I am a current undergraduate business student who loves the UofA!
Hi, my name is Garrett. I am from a small town in Oklahoma, but I have fallen in love with the campus at the University of Arkansas. I am a current Business student at the Walton College of Business, with a focus in accounting. I love Arkansas with my whole heart, and I hope I can help you make the same best decision that I did. With that said, I can give you an unbiased tour to show both the pros and cons of campus. This includes dorms, dining, Greek life, and many other things that make your college experience amazing.

Describe your college experience
The transition to college definitely had its ups and downs. For one, I loved the campus and the people that I met, but I had a hard time being away from my family and my little brother. Once I got in a groove with my classes, met people that I thrived with, and started enjoying all the commodities that campus had to offer, I was able to truly enjoy my college experience.
Tip for future students
The hills definitely take some getting used to. I would also say do not worry about fitting in right away. In college everyone is kind of closed off at the start, but as you see people every day that shield comes down and you can make some great friends. Also, while Arkansas is Greek life heavy, there are plenty of opportunities for non-Greek life to thrive.
Favorite class
I have two. One being my public speaking class. This being because my professor made me feel really comfortable and I felt like I was able to open up to a room full of students. The other would-be business law. Both the professor and the curriculum were incredible, and I would highly recommend the class to anyone.
Career goals
I would like to either go to law school or continue in a career in accounting. If i choose the accounting route I would dream for it to be centered around a sports program, as I have always had a passion for sports.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love watching a good movie with friends, but on the contrary I also love to go play basketball with friends and end the night with a solid dinner.
