Describe your college experience

I was unsure about attending UNC at first. However, I have grown to love this school and I feel as though I have truly found my place here. My freshman year, I took advantage of the numerous extracurricular opportunities, from sports to academic research. In addition, I took a mix of small classes and large lectures. Although I was hesitant to go to a larger school, I ended up loving my large classes.

Tip for future students

I wish I had known that my college journey was completely up to me. You can be as involved as you wish to be. In my case, I was significantly more involved my second semester compared to my first, which is completely okay. The most important thing is that you give yourself time to adjust, and that looks different for everyone.

Favorite class

Biology 103 - How Cells Function. It sparked my curiosity in ways I hadn’t expected and confirmed my interest in pursuing more advanced biology courses.

Career goals

I am not fully sure what I want to do after college. I am currently looking into research, public health, or potentially pharmacy school.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Game nights with my suitemates! We love to play Code Names and Bananagrams.
