Describe your college experience
I was very fortunate to have a smooth transition into college, thanks to being able to live with my cousin and one of my closest friends. It has helped me feel surrounded by people I know and love, keeping me from experiencing that deep-seated sadness of being separated from my family. Coming from an IB school (which is very rigorous) has also made college simpler than expected. My classes have been manageable, and that is considering I am taking 6 courses each semester to graduate early. I've also made friends and many sincere connections with the students, which has also given me so much relief.
Tip for future students
Find groups of people that you relate to. By this, I mean that if, for example, you are religious, go to church, and find a group of people that relate to you and your morals. Finding friends is important, but finding friends who have similar beliefs to you helps so much because it's easier to find common ground and connect more quickly. Also, try to start involving yourself in organizations that you truly believe will benefit your major/future career. Building a membership in some good organizations that will help you not only build a resume, but also build extensive experience, is so important throughout your college experience.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been M Q 408, which is differential and integral calculus for business. I honestly just enjoyed this class because I love mathematics in general, but I also truly appreciate our professor, Dr. Ishraq. She was an incredible teacher and prepared us excellently for our exams.
Career goals
I would love to get into some kind of fashion or beauty marketing for a big company. One of my biggest dreams, however, is to start my own clothing line or to open my own coffee shop. Both are quite different, but I've always had very big aspirations.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is by lighting a candle, lying in my apartment's bed, and writing my book. I am currently writing my second romance novel, which is a random hobby of mine.
