Describe your college experience
I attended Summer session as my first semester at FSU. This tremendously helped my transition to college. Knowing familiar faces prior to beginning Fall semester, which encompassed harder classes, was extremely beneficial. I got to have a feel for the campus before it got more crowded with many more students. Joining clubs, a sorority, and thoroughly enjoying my major has made my experience so enjoyable. Every experience I have had, I have put myself out there to have the best outcome. I would love to share more advice to help someone else have such a similar incredible experience.
Tip for future students
One tip I have is to put your all into everything you do. I try to never have any regrets and always feel fulfilled with the amount of effort I put into my classes, studying, friendships, etc.
Favorite class
My favorite class I have taken is my Phonetics class. While it was challenging at times, my professor would always come into the 8 am class so positive with a smile on her face. Her positivity reflected in me wanting to be in the class and wanting to learn.
Career goals
I hope to attend a masters program in Speech-Language Pathology and then be a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I currently live in my sorority house, so a free night is spent in the TV room watching a movie with my sorority sisters while sipping on hot chocolate.
High school or secondary school
I attended Olympic Heights High School in Boca Raton, Florida.
Meeting point
Westcott Fountain on the Florida State University campus
